About the author

Anna Soler-Pont

Anna Soler-Pont, born in Barcelona, studied Arabic Language and Culture and is the founder of Pontas international literary & film agency. She has an adopted daughter from Ethiopia. Asha and Anna’s live-changing experiences inspired them to write the novel Traces of Sandalwood. This novel was adapted into a feature film, released in Spain in 2014, and has been awarded several prizes, including the Audience Award at Montreal World Film Festival 2014.
