An impressive collection of World Editions authors traveled around North America this Fall in a spectacular tour to meet their American and Canadian readers and booksellers.
Sisonke Msimang was enthusiastically received for her talks at the prestigious San Francisco LitQuake Festival and the Vancouver Writers Festival. Jaap Robben was one of the five featured debut authors at the Brooklyn Book Festival, selected by the festival organizers from all over the world. Esther Gerritsen presented her novel Craving at LitQuake Festival, where she was introduced by the internationally acclaimed author Alice Sebold. The authors shared many more stages and book signing tables beyond those.
Christine Otten, finally, took the stage with the Last Poets in several venues to celebrate the US release of The Last Poets, which Bill Adler describes as ‘the Malcolm X biography times nine.’
Msimang’s Always Another Country, Robben’s You Have Me to Love, Gerritsen’s Craving and Otten’s The Last Poets are now available for sale.
